A project with 826 National & Common Sense Media

For the past 18 months, we have asked students from around the world their opinions about digital media, and about their relationship to technology in general. The results have been eye-opening and unexpected. Far from acting as a monolithic group in thrall of all things digital, teens are conflicted, suspicious, and even despairing of the influence of technology in their lives.

For this project, we asked students ages 14 to 18 to provide advice to middle-schoolers about how to navigate the digital world. The results are extraordinary, and will soon be published in Common Sense media forums, and later in a printed book. Stay tuned.
