Cath Keenan

Dr Catherine Keenan is co-founder and executive director of the Story Factory, a not-for-profit that runs creative writing and storytelling programs for marginalised young people across Sydney and Western Sydney, Australia. Before co-founding the Story Factory in 2012, she worked for a decade at The Sydney Morning Herald as an arts journalist and literary editor. She is also the 2016 Australian of the Year Local Hero.
